Look out for cAPI v1.3.4 to be released within the next couple weeks. Major features include:

Basic Authentication
- Basic Auth via pop-pop
- Basic Auth via Authorization header

Component Methods
- Allow for any component table to be queried via cAPI!
- 3rd party components should be fully compatible if they adhere to JTable and JModel standards defined by the Joomla Developer Documentation.
